Brooklyn Music and Arts Program Finds New Home at Boys and Girls High School

After three wonderful years in downtown Brooklyn's Old Salvation Army, the Brooklyn Music and Arts Program (BMAP) has found a new home and partnership with Boys and Girls High School (BGHS). BMAP and BGHS will begin working in a number of capacities. BMAP will assist BGHS in the development and implementation of during school hours music program, as well as providing after school music lessons. BGHS will provide workshops (health, college, SAT prep) to members, in addition to rehearsal space and storage.

We are confident and proud of our new relationship, and are excited to keep more kids safe, off the streets and committed to the goals and standards required to achieve a solid education, one that encompasses and embodies full youth development and the arts.
