P.S. 753 Brooklyn School for Career Development (coming soon)

Flatbush Beacon at MS 2 is a center initiated by the Mayor's Office for Children and Families, Agenda for Children Tomorrow (ACT), and the Department of youth and Community Development (DYCD). It is a school-based community initiative representing a commitment to ensuring the presence of positive support for the youth and families in the evenings and on weekends. Currently, the Brooklyn Music and Arts Program oversees percussion and color guard instruction at the Flatbush Beacon.

High School for Career Development is a New York City Public High School which is dedicated to increasing the number of students in the areas of science, technology and mathematics, especially those from ethnic groups which have been historically underrepresented in careers in research and the corporate world. After-school, the Brooklyn Music and Arts Program offers tutoring services and percussion instruction to approximately twenty-five (25) students.
